Big Pictures Entertainment Created in 1999, Big Pictures Entertainment Inc. is a division of SLFA established to develop and produce film and television projects. Big Pictures has produced two award-winning productions in television and film - the nationally syndicated music-industry based sitcom, Big Sound, and the offbeat romantic comedy, Rare Birds, starring William Hurt and Molly Parker. Big Sound, co-produced by David Steinberg (Seinfeld, Mad About You), was the winner of three 2001 LEO Awards while Rare Birds received the People's Choice Award at the Atlantic Film Festival, 5 Genie Nominations and 4 Directors Guild of Canada Awards. Big Pictures also produced two seasons of the cutting edge drama series Whistler which aired on the CTV network in Canada and The N network in the US. |
